Friday: 5:00 PM - arrive, set up camp cook dinner - potluck (bring something to cook or precooked to share) - we will have several Camp Chef stoves, Dutch Ovens, and griddles available 5:30 PM - Opening Ceremony (Flag indoors) 6:00 PM - Dinner 6:30 PM - clean up (Boy Scout style) 7:00 PM - Outdoor Ethics 7:30 PM - Fire site prep & Building 9:00 PM - Campfire Program 9:30 PM - Cracker Barrel Basics of Dehydrating (dehydrate Lunch overnight) Saturday: 7:00 AM - Reveille 7:30 AM - Backpacking breakfast (Cheesy Bacon Grits) 8:00 AM - Interfaith worship 8:15 AM - Flag 8:30 AM - Tents/Gear/Clothing 10:15 AM - Break 10:30 AM - First Aid 11:30 AM - Lunch (Turkey and dressing) 12:30 PM - Hanging a bear bag, Food safety 1:00 PM - Plant/Animal Identification 1:30 PM - Navigation (Maps, finding North) 2:00 PM - Ropes, knots & lashing 3:30 PM - Packing and Hiking techniques 4:00 PM - Break camp and head home- :)
