Adjutant

Appointed by the SPL with the advice and approval of the Scoutmaster. The instructor is an older troop member proficient both in a scouting skill and the ability to teach that skills.

Assistant Patrol Leader

Appointed by the Patrol Leader. Performs the duties of Patrol Leader in his absence; assists and supports the patrol leader in all endeavors.

Duties and responsibilities for Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

Assistant Senior Patrol Leader

The assistant senior patrol leader is the second highest ranking junior leader in the troop. He is elected by the boys of the troop with the approval of the Scoutmaster. The assistant senior patrol leader acts as the senior patrol leader in the absence of the senior patrol leader or when called upon. He also provides leadership to other junior leaders in the troop. Upon completion of his tour, he fleets up to be the SPL. Must be at least Star Rank.

Duties and responsibilities for Chaplains Aide

Chaplains Aide

Appointed by the SPL with the advice and approval of the Scoutmaster. The chaplain aide works with the troop chaplain to meet the religious needs of Scouts in the troop. He also works to promote the religious emblems program.

Den Chief

Appointed by the SPL with the advice and approval of the Scoutmaster. The den chief works with the Cub Scouts, Webelos Scouts and den leaders in the Cub Scout pack.

Historian

Appointed by the SPL with the advice and approval of the Scoutmaster. The historian keeps a historical record or scrapbook of troop activities.

Junior Assistant Scoutmaster

The junior assistant Scoutmaster serves in the capacity of an assistant Scoutmaster except where legal age and maturity are required. He must be at least 16 years old and not yet 18. He's appointed by the Scoutmaster because of his leadership ability.

Duties and responsibilities for Order of the Arrow Troop Rep

Order of the Arrow Troop Rep

The Order of the Arrow Troop Representative is a youth liaison serving between the local OA lodge or chapter and his troop. In his troop he serves serves as a communication and programmatic link to the Arrowman and adult leaders and who are not presently members of the Order. He does this in a fashion that strengthens the mission of the lodge and purpose of the Order. By setting a good example, he enhances the image of the Order as a service arm to his troop.

Patrol Leader

Elected by the boys of the troop. Provide leadership and service to the troop through the patrol leader's council. He represents his patrol on the patrol leader's council. Must be at least First Class Rank.

Patrol Quartermaster

Appointed by the PL with the advice and approval of the Scoutmaster. The patrol quartermaster keeps track of troop equipment and sees that it is in good working order.

Scribe

Appointed by the SPL with the advice and approval of the Scoutmaster. The scribe keeps the troop records. He records the activities of the patrol leaders' council and keeps a record of dues, advancement, and Scout attendance at troop meetings.
Responsible to:   Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, Troop Committee Advancement Chair and Treasurer.

Senior Patrol Leader

Fleets up from ASPL, the SPL provides leadership and service to the troop through the patrol leader's council. Everything that the troop does or fails to do results from the decisions made by the patrol leader's council, of which he is the head.

Troop Guide

The troop guide works with new Scouts. He helps them feel comfortable and earn their First Class rank in their first year.
